The Joseph Hackmey Exhibit Collection of U.S.A. sold intact by Private Treaty
After the announcement of the auction of the outstanding collection of U.S.A. formed by Joseph Hackmey and the subsequent marketing and promotion campaign, David Feldman USA was approached by Charles Shreve at Spink representing William H. Gross, who made an offer to purchase outright the entire exhibit section. Working in the best interests of the owner, after some negotiation, David Feldman USA recommended that Mr. Hackmey accept the offer. The exhibit collection has thus been sold for an impressive eight-figure sum.
